Just Giving

We are registered with the 'Just Giving' website, which should make it easier if you wish to donate or to sponsor any of the challenges. You can also make up your own page on this site if you are undertaking any challenges to support the fund - in this way you can email and circulate details to your family and friends. Donations through the 'Just Giving' site go directly to the RKBF bank account and the Gift Aid is automatically collected on behalf of the fund.

Cascade Catering

This is a very simple idea and can be easily arranged. The idea is that you invite six other people around for dinner. You would supply them with a meal and a few drinks and charge them with the proceeds being donated to The Rod Kesson Benefit Fund. Then your guests may like to approach six of their friends to do the same thing and the Catering will Cascade, the participants will have a nice evening safe in the knowledge that the money they raise will be going to some very deserving causes.

Music Quiz - 8th February 2008

Come along to the Queen Elizabeth School in February 2008 and test your musical knowledge. With musical questions from Opera to Hip Hop, and the Beatles to Brahms. Geoff Wade has been running Music Quizzes for years in Faversham and they are always good fun, as well as infuriating.

Beer & Brains

Rod’s practice are planning to organise a Quiz Night to support his benefit fund. This another great idea for raising funds for RKBF you could arrange your own quiz, have some fun, and raise some money.

Ramble 4 Rod 2008 - 27th April 2008

The Committee is planning a challenging Ramble and/or Race around Faversham. This will mark the 1st Anniversary of Rod's death and is planned for the 27th April. We hope that this will be a family event and that if you wish to join in you may enter as an individual or team. Consider this - raise some money and get fit at the same time - which can never be a bad thing! Monica and the family will be joining in and Monica may well run rather than ramble so if anyone wants to join her they would be very welcome!

The Grande Final Ball 27th September 2008

To say thank you to everybody there will be a Grand Ball at Mount Ephraim (by kind permission of The Dawes family) on the 27th September 2008. This will be an occasion to savour with wonderful food and eclectic music to dance the night away. So put that date into your diaries, palm tops, calendars and book a table early as this is bound to be a very popular event.
