Following the sudden death of the much loved and respected Faversham Doctor Rod Kesson, a fund has been set up to raise money for the Charities that he supported.
Monica, his wife, approached a number of their close friends with the idea of running a benefit fund in Rod's honour for a year with the target of raising £20,000. This benefit fund would run from September 2007 to September 2008 and include a range of money-raising ideas and challenges that his friends and people of Faversham could take part in.
Monica and her family wanted to gain something positive out of Rod's tragic death. They
also wanted something to focus on in order to get over the 1st year of anniversaries. Many
people have felt the same and expressed support for the fund as a way to help themselves
get over Rod's death.
